Just what I wanted for my cat!

It is simple to assemble, quite sturdy and looks excellent. My cat was a small frightened at first (the condo is 6′ high), but after a few hours of exploring found the way up. The hanging toy died during the first 15 minutes, but it’s not a huge deal. If you have a large breed cat it may not fit on all the levels, the shelves are quite small. In general works fantastic for my cat and the price is lower than in Petsmart or Care-a-lot.

I bought this cat tree directly from armarkat on their website with free shipping for $112.50 after finding a coupon online. I expected it would take a long time to process and ship but I ordered it Sunday night and got it on my doorstep that Friday. We had friends come over that night and I started to get annoyed as my husband started opening the box to build the thing. I thought oh fantastic this will take forever, he won’t read the instructions, we’re gonna get in a fight, you know the usual married couple stuff when building furniture. Well that didn’t happen at all. It was perfectly packed, simple to pull out and was place together with the help of his friend in about 30 minutes start to end. The cats were a small hesitant at first but it’s been about a month and they like it. Infact there is nearly always one of them sleeping up on the very top. My only qualms would be it is slighty shaky and we do plot to buy a furniture strap and screw it up to the wall. The other is the small “toys” that it come with to hang on the string attached. Now my cats loved this toy, which the directions clearly stated was for show only, oh please. Infact the toy was the first thing that attracted them to get on the tree. But it took them about two days to rip the thing in sheds and I have small pieces of yarn all over the place. It wasn’t until a few days after that I noticed that yarn toy had been held onto the string with a small plastic tie, which was at that point mostly eatten. Oh well, they don’t seem to be any worse for the wear. I do reckon it is kinda cheap to include not just one but two toys and say they are for show purposes only. Other than that it really is terrific. I never saw anything near this quality or size at a pet store for less than $350.

Excellent for this type of thing

Well lets face it, if you are buying a cat huge cat scratcher, they are all made of particle board and cheapy plastic pieces; all of them unless you make it yourself. It wobbles slightly but is better than I had expected. I suggest that you place it up against a wall and anchor the second from the top highest platform to the wall with an L bracket that you can pick up at any hardware store. If you do that, this thing is pretty solid.

I ordered this product on a Sunday and it arrived on the following Thursday. I would say that was super quick! I’m very pleased with the quality and price. Assembly was simple enough and it has everything the cats like, lounging area, toys and height.

It’s everything we wanted for our kitties

The product arrived exactly as specified. It’s quite sturdy, maybe a tad shaky, but nothing that deterred our kitties from having fun. The product is very well crafted and was super-simple to assemble.
The design makes it simple for the cats to get from one level to the next. They did have to work a bit to reach the highest platform, but they figured it out, and once they’re full-grown it’ll be a breeze. They like the ball on the elastic string, and a 2nd ball was included for replacement too. That was an added bonus.
This was really a fantastic buy and terrific value.
